I'll adimt it. I have hairy legs. I badly want to shave them. A couple of people have asked me do I shave my legs, and guess what I say? No. I can't! My mom won't let me. She says 'You only shave when you have alot on your legs' Hello mom, there thick! How can I convince my mom?

join a swim team and tell your mom you need to shave so you can stream line in the water when you swim.

Ask your mom if she would let people see her legs if they were hairy. Shaving only makes a lot of stubble-which is even worse than the hairs. What about hair-removing cream?

I don't know how old you are but get your mother's permission first. See what happens is your hair starts to turn black after you start shaving. It also gets very coarse. Then you have to shave more and more. It is best to try to wait as long as possible before you start shaving. It really isn't as much fun as one might think. When the hair has not been shaven ever it is harder to see. But once you start shaving it will become more and more noticable.

I started shaving my legs when I was 13, even though I wasn't allowed. They're your legs, so don't bother asking - just do it. It isn't really any big deal. If you're young then it might be a good idea to get cream rather than razors.

ask your mom if you can get rid of the hair another way, like waxing or delepitory cream, and if she still says no, do it in secret. I have the same problem. i shaved my legs at my best friends house, and my bff gave me a razor that i hide in my dresser.

It depends how old you are, I started when i was 11 because my mom said it was fine. If you really want shave, tell your mom that you think they are thick and hairy and you dont want them. Tell her she can show you, that you really want to. Dont tell us tell her.

I convinced my mom by telling her the truth. That I would feel more comfortable about my body if I did. Its not just to fit in. Be honest w/ her. Ask her nicely why it is she doesn't want you to do it. It may be more so her problem than yours. Make her some kind of deal. She may listen to reasoning.....

well try hair removing cream, or get them waxed. You dont have to shave, and if you did, would your mum notice?
