back in the 90's there was a study that linked it to sexual repression.
basicaly it showed that people that had dealt with their sexuality repressed by their partetal figures often became serial killers.
the study included several serial killers and all of them admitted to either sexual abuse as a child, or sexual repression as a child and a teen.
just some examples.
Charles Manson...His mother dressed him as a girl for several years. the same happened to Adolph Hitler.
Albert Fish, was made to sit in a closet and pray for 2 hours a day. and was told that if he ever touched a man or woman in a private area that he would go to hell.
i cannot remember all of the people that it talked about.
it was published in Playboy magizine.

I am not certain that your premise is correct.
One of the most prolific serial killers was Russian.
Asia has more than her share of serial killers and let us not forget England and her Jack the Ripper as well as a few current scary killers.
No, I'm not sure your premise is correct.

Do we know this is true? There certainly appear to be a lot of serial killings here, but perhaps only because it's publicized more here in the US.

What are your statistics. I don't believe you can support your argument with any facts--emotional, every-once-in a while anecdotal TV and Newspaper information is not enough.

i think it's because of all the freedom here. in other countries most still live by the old law. like if u steal something they cut ur hand off,etc.
