Yes you can, but only one can be set as a DHCP server, they must have different interal IP's, and you should probably disable the wireless for one of them, since only one needs to send/receive the wireless info. Basically the second would just be used as a switch.

Whoever you're chatting with is an fool. The time period "ethernet splitter" will make even the most newbie of community engineers pull a severe facepalm. you won't be able to easily split a connection in that way. you want a multi-port gadget (router/swap). which could be a horrendous answer, as you should be putting electorate on your inner community with out any protection to phase the site visitors. it must be the exact same as merely giving all and various the password.
