I don't really forget things somewhere on purpose but I tend to recall the important and relative things faster, easier, and better probably because inside my mind makes a bigger mental note of it. The smaller insignificant things or things that are not relative also tend to be forgotten a little more easily. It's completely normal and no one is perfect. All in all I am not a forgetful person, because I do like to plan and make time for what I need.

Dear Heart, I don't need to forget things on purpose because I do enough of that already since I had my stroke and a seizure of epilepsy... Besides; I think this would be some kind of manipulation or a sign of dependance to be with other people on false pretense.
The only purpose I see in this is a motive to go back to that place

Yes, sometimes I hide money somewhere for a later purpose, and forget about hiding it, so that when I find it, I'm surprised.

Most people don't "purposely forget" something. Either you've forgotten about it,or just ignored it. (one or the other).

you mean like forgetting someone at the train station or forgetting you just drove off without your passenger on I95? yea, it happens

I sometimes forget my towel when i'm bathing so I can get out dripping wet and walk past my husband so he can get a nice eyefull.

i think once i sub-conciously left my cell phone at a guys house so i could have an excuse to come back and see him.
