I washed white pants, white workout bra, two long-sleeved t-shirts, one bra and a white hoodie in Clorox and Purex. My problem is, I had been using fake tan all summer and I think that some of the stuff has now migrated to my pant legs and you can see it on the bra, workout bra and the two long-sleeved tees. The pants and the tees look terrible! I didn't dry them because I was afraid of the stains setting in. What should I do to fix this? Should I use Clorox only and what temp should I use? I'm so perplexed at this point. I don't understand why my hoodie was unaffected. Where my tees would wrinkle on the sleeves, I have rings of the fake tan. It's so gross!
Any help would be most appreciated. Thank you.

I would take the clothes and soak them in a sink full of half cool water, half bleach. If that doesn't work, then probably nothing will. That sunless tanner stuff can be pretty brutal. I'm not sure what brand you use, and I know this is after the fact, but have you tried the Jergens Natural Glow? It gives you a tan slower over a period of a couple days, and it doesn't stain your clothes like the others do, since it contains less of the dye. I love that brand, works great and looks natural. Good luck!

I haven't use this method for tan cream or lotion, but it has worked for chocolate stains and other stains on white cotton. Here is what I do, I use Clorox stool cleaner, it is sort of thick and I apply it only to the area that has the stain. Then let it set awhile and machine wash it with 2 caps of laundry detergent in cold water. See if this works, If it is still there, lay the garments out in the yard on the grass, let the dew hit them and then the sun shine on them to see if it will bleach them out. I have done both with very good results, but be sure the fabric is white and cotton. I don't know how this would work on any other fabric. It's worth a try.

i'm truly light. I continually needed i changed into tan. the reality is, it truly is not any longer well worth it. Love your self for who you're and understand you do not desire pretend tanned epidermis to be at liberty. i understand it truly is not any longer what you had to take heed to. merely undergo in ideas, in spite of you position on your epidermis receives absorbed into your body. severe use of a few thing chemical/unnatural isn't healthy. honest epidermis changed into once an illustration of attractiveness and wealth...what got here about?
