ok so i downloaded limewire but have no idea how to use it!! my brother was trying to listen to this one song but couldnt. So how can u listen to a song before u download it? n how do u download them? plzzz help! thanx for ur help! :) n if there is anytihn else i need to now plz tell me thanx

you cant preview files before you download them. sometimes you can get a preview when the song is halfway downloaded.
if you want my advice, use bearshare. limewire is about the worst p2p there is.

You can't listen to them first. Limewire is just for file transfer. After downloaded, you can play with your normal mp3 application.
Just a tip... sort by connection speed to find faster downloads.
Also, some files will not download, so you may have to try several before you get one that works. It is kind of a clumsy system, but it beats paying for it - hypothetically speaking, of course.

first go to search, then in the left u see 6 different searchoptions, simple choose audio for music, fill in the search details (name of song, wich singer etc etc) press search, then u will see the search results, simply double click on the 1 u want and it starts to download, then u go to the mediatheek and listen the song =P good luck (i have dutch version of limewire so maybe some names are different like mediatheek and audio =P)

After you download it and its installed correctly, all you have to do is select Audio for the music and fill in the Title of the Song and, or the Artist of the song doesn't matter if you do both or not. you can't preview the song until it started downloading.

well I just got limewire and I cant listen to the songs before i download it... so i just download it, listen to it and if i dont like it, i delete it
