Wow... Armitage is really the administration's whipping boy. First falling on his sword over Plamegate, and now I'm sure he's willing to take another one for the team.

That Dick Armitage gets around. But he is thankful for the job. After a 30 year carrier as a CIA assassin he was glad to fill in as whipping boy.
Now he can tell his grandchildren that he was a State department deputy and not a CIA murderer.

I think he knew that before the letter. The whole "you're with us or you're against us" speech made it clear. Funny thing is they helped alQaeda and we still haven't done anything to them.
