Bizarre....but makes you think!!!!!?
I wished the worst on my chem teacher. Like I hoped he died in a car wreck etc..... but now Im taking it back.
Two days ago a professor from the math and science department from our university dropped dead of a heart attack before class. Wow I remember seeing this guy almost every other lab day. Never took a class from him but he seemed like a nice guy. So now Im kinda paranoid besides Im doing quite a bit better in this class. Anyway I was just wondering how it worked if your teacher dies suddenly in the middle of a semester, do they just drop that class for the semester or they immediately find a replacement? How do they tell the students what happened? Do they wait until the students show up in class the next day and say "Sorry guys your teacher died yesterday?" Just wondering

Usually they find a quick replacement. lots of students have already paid for the class and it is easier to find a replacement than to refund all the cash. Yes they usually do make an announcement about the death of the teacher. How often do we wish harm on others? don't feel guilty. If a parent died everytime a teenager wished them harm all of us parents would be dead.

The school will find a substitute and it's not uncommon for schools to have counseling classes for those that wish to attend.
