There are 6 numbers greater than 4 on a 10 sided die. So you would divide 6 by 10.
The odds would be 60% or 3 out of 5.

The odds are 6 out of 10 that a 5 or higher will be rolled.
Means that out of every 100 rolls, a five or greater will come up 60 times. (approximately...given inherent statistical anomolies + / - 1%)

the odds are 3 to 2
don't believe some of those other answers
3 to 5 is not right because the odds isn't out of the total number, it the amount compared to the other amount
There are 6 greater than 4 and 4 that are not.
this equals 6 to 4 but you simplify to 3 to 2

Taking 10 sided die : Numbered from 1 to 10 .
Odds of number greater than 4 will be :
Z = { 1,2,3,4 } Set of numbers less than equal to 4.
X = { 5,6,7,8,9,10 } Set of all numbers greater than 4
Odd of number greater than 4 = Z / X
Odd of number greater than 4 = Numbers less than 4 / Number greater than 4
= 4 / 6
= 2 / 3

assuming the digits 0-9 are on the ten faces...
it depends if you consider the "0" to be 0 or 10.
if you consider it to be 0, then the odds would be 1:1 (50%)
if you consider it to be 10, the odds would be 2:3 (60%)
