Gaming applet failing to initialize?

Question

I can't seem to play any games that yahoo offers because the applet won't initalize. I clicked "click here if it fails to open" and it still doesn't do anything. I have a fairly new computer so maybe if somebody could tell me some configuration settings I need to alter I would appreciate it. Thanks

close all windows and refresh window, try again. make sure no popup blockers are on. You might want to load Java to run your games, it is a free download.

here are a couple things to try in order!try them and you will get in.
log on to mail 1st then go to games. games section is having log in problems
set pop up blocker to always allow games.yahoo.com The easiest way to do this when you try getting in lounge and it doesn't work.click on pop up blocker. always allow tab it will say recent pop ups blocked.high light yahoo.com then click allow.1st thing you do when you get in lounge is check small windows in options box.once
in room expand it to see chat area.you only see half of cards but you can still play.this gets rid of the ads also.

you need java for games,but not to open them,if you have microsoft VM. go to start button,settings,, control panel open internet options advance tab,scroll down to see if microsoft vm is there if so unclick the 2 java listed. Make sure JIT is checked, click apply then ok. close.this lets msn vm launch games. this will SPEED UP game loading time.if you don’t have msn VM,get it here http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserversystem/ virtualserver/default.mspx

um...umm....u..um..prefer 2...um configure ure protection settings, if u ...um.... have them, if u dont, u ...um.... prefer 2 bypass and purchase them it from a working laptop or computer shop, i've got been given mine from computer international!hehe! :-)
