There is no real mystery. It's true that ships and planes occasionally disappear in the Bermuda Triangle, which is defined by Bermuda, Puerto Rico, and Miami. However, this is an extremely busy section of the ocean, and the number of disappearances is not out of propotion to the number of vessels that pass through the region.

I agree with Seeker. All this people here claiming methane bubbles are the responsible forgot that the Bermuda Triangle is very famous for taking down boats as well as PLANES. I have traveled from the Unites States to Puerto Rico many times (crossing the triangle each time) and I'm still alive. It's all BS, in my opinion.

Because of the electromagnetic interference caused inside the Bermuda Triangle makes it impossible at times.

Time travel is done by the use of heavy electro-magnetic fields. The natural electro-magnetic field in the Bermuda Triangle moves things forward and backward in time just by their linear spatial travel through the zone. Even quantumn signal decay tracers have problems in this region.

A secondary problem with the time movement is the hot and cold spots that happen without much warning. These spots can be surface or mid-air regions. With these spots, the general density of the area also changes, which can do wierd things to ship sensors and cause planes to malfunction and give pilots a tough time and also cause them to crash.

In the end, it is both the movement within time and the catastropic technological failures that make it hard to track people and things and vessels and planes when the Bermuda Triangle acts up.

Its probably because the triangle area is a heavily traveled shipping lane and the triangle is also known for its ferocious storms such as hurricanes and tropical disturbances that may wreck havoc on a ship. I suppose if this area was compared to other busy shipping lanes near tropical waters it would not be much different in terms of lost ships...Many so called authors use the data and statistics from the triangle area to proclaim a mystery that has no solution other than a phenomenon that helps to sale books and movies...

We do get 'traces' of ships or aircraft that move through the Bermuda triangle. I assume that you mean there are no traces of the ones that went missing.
In the days before modern navigation techniques, the maps were not very accurate, and even when they became accurate navigation remained an apporximate art.
Today, bad visibility can still cause problems.

because methane is found there and is the largest pocket of it on earth and when one of the pockets burst the bubbles which are thinner than our breathing air at sea level causes ships to loose its ability to float and will sink.planes loose the air thickness they need to maintain flight its pretty much like flying to high in a plane the air is too thin to support flight and the plane will loose altitude.also there is alot of magnetic rock there also called lode stone.that's the 2 biggest reasons that area is like that but its not that common any more about hearing it.

Depends on who you are asking. There are a lot of theories, from UFO's, time warps, magnetic field disruptions, to hidden water currents. Take your pick!
