If there were two substances with the same melting point and the same boiling point -- then you wouldn't be able to identify them in this manner. Therefore, if you can use this tool to identify substances, it must be because each substane has a unique melting point and boiling point.

Boiling is at the same time as a substance modifications from a liquid to a gas. think of of of it this style...as quickly as you're taking an ice cube out of the freezer, it melts at room temperature...precise? yet does water boil at room temperature?
