At the very least 800 songs (this assumes 5mb per song). Depending on the quality and the length of the song could get up to 1200.

standard mp3 tracks around 1,000 songs. If there are WMA (windows meadia) files then probably around 2,000 songs. If u're gettin a IPOD nano then it can hold 1,000 photos also.

But there is competition out there at the mo, creative are curretly Apples competition so they are doin' a 4gb mps player for £140, whereas the nano is £180.

But if you're not in a rush to the mp3 player as of yet, then wait for Apple to launch the 10gb Nano for around £150. A bargain, but it may become faulty within the first year of guarantee.

plenty, extremely. My previous 2 gig iPod Nano holds about 2 hundred lack of life metallic cookie monster epics, so so that you could desire to be waiting to larger healthy over 2000 songs in mp3 format on your Sansa. there is not any longer any massive difference in storage ability between a 16GB Sansa and a 16GB iPod.
