Let's say an owl eats a field mouse. They would normally swallow it whole. Anything the owl cannot digest (fur, bones, etc) gets compacted in the owl's stomach until he throws it up.
It looks like a tightly packed wad of fur. The color depends on what the prey was.
When I was a kid, we went hiking in the woods. Our guide found some owl pellets and showed them to us. He then carefully un-clumped one and uncovered the perfect skull of a field mouse...jaws, teeth everything...it was kind of gross yet kind of interesting.

owl pellets are owl poop. All od the things tat the owls cant digest like bones and haircome out in the pellets. when i was in 6th grade we had to disect owl pellets in Science class. it was soooo gross...we had to break open the pellets and get all of the little bones from whatever the owl ate and hotglue them back together. m owl happened to eat a little mouse. the smell is terrible, let me tell ya.

Owl puke.. Well it's all the stuff the owl can't digest. It made up of fur and bones. They are really cool to see though.

Basically, it's owl poop. They are interesting to disect. You can tell what the owl has been eating, since they don't digest bones, you can tell who they have been eating.

it's the stuff that owls regurgitate whenever they can't digest it.
it's just shaped in a "pellet" shape usually.
so, that's why it's named that.
it's usually made up of like, bones & hair & stuff.

an own pellet is all the undigestible stuff like furr mouse bones rocks stuff like that that is regurgitated

eww we had to friggin disect those in 5th grade. its vomit and we found skeletons of mice and like smaller birds in them.
