If someone really wants to be your friend then they will be there for you and talk to you. But you will notice that they were just being nice and did not want to hurt your feelings, when they ignore you and stop talking to you.

if they really wanna be friends, you guys would talk alot over the phone, emails, etc. if they just wanna be nice, they'd just talk to you occasionally, and they wont talk to you as much as they do to their real good friends.
