Top Gear used to be a relevant and informative programme.. It has slowly descended over the years to be a kind of Jackass for the rich and middle aged.
The terrible accident earlier this week had a certain inevitability about it. The only good thing about it was that no one else was involved; as could well have happened in previous dashes across Europe at profoundly stupid speeds.

well lets hope he makes a full recovery and returns to his wife and children , i think his life and well being is more important than whether or not a tv programme carries on being made....

i hope he's not harmed seriosuly for life.... even though it was a stupid stunt! I think he's strangely gorgeoues- if i was his wife i'd be seriosuly distraught. Poor guy, poor family.
