Hi Liza. I really like your picture, by the way. Che is so cool. Anyway, yes, I have found my destiny and I am fulfilling it. I grew up on the streets. One night I was sleeping be a Buddhist temple in the city where I live. Some of the monks found me, cleaned me up and took care of me. Instead of all the pain I had known, I found peace and a community that was gentle. That was over a year ago. In a couple of more weeks I will be shaving my head to become a novice nun. I am very happy. I love my destiny. :)

Firstly your question presumes a purpose in being. Considering that you will die, your question limits itself again. Consider now your ablility to reach or secure some destiny. Let us say you start aged 15 and stop at 65, thats 50 years of living. So 50 years aint a lot of time to effect much. Hence destiny must either be an experience to effect others or self, here and now, rather than futuer generations. I think this gives you three choices, pleasing yourself, pleasing others or fullfilment, self realisation. You are asking for the later. The answer i think is with all three choices. You can only know self ( what you want) by investing yourself in others. From this process, you discover who you are, what you like, what you can do, and from this, you can perhaps, begin to see a destiny. Alternatively, listen to you heart. Seems daft but if you're truthful, it will tell you. If you're deceitful, you're in for a rough ride. P.s. Great question. So here is a truth: (guarenteed), ''seek and you shall find''.

I haven't,really. But even if I have had it, most likely I ignored it. All i know sometimes, it feels that, that is my destiny to suffer. One problem after another. After all, we are not to be happy in this world, we are in a valley of tears. After death, when we enter the kingdom of heaven, that's when real happiness will occur. This is our destiny.

I do not think I have found my destiny yet in areas of my work career, my financial, or family. i say this because just when I think I have things figured out for my future something throws a me a whirl of how things can change overnight, in each minute.

I don't believe in destiny. Besides, the world population is too large for 'destiny' to be anything but trivial.

No not yet...still trying to figure that out.
I have a strong desire to find out...But at the half way point in my life, I'm still not sure. I know more about where I came from and where I'll be going after this life than I know about what the hell I'm doing here now.

Destiny is not a person or place its something that comes to you like nothing you ever realized before it makes total sense and is effortless to do that's the best way I can explain it.
For me it was "God" its that simple.
