There are an infinite number of large land masses smaller than continents, depending on your definition of "large'.

We have sub continents like south east asia, or we can break continents into different geographical land masses, mountain ranges, deserts etc. or we can divide it into nation states and consider those states large enough to meet your definition of large land mass. Russia, Canada, USA , China, etc. And we have numerous large islands Greenland, Vancouver,Baffin etc.

Lots of answers take your pick.

your question is too vague, but i suspect the answer you're looking for is, "an island". the USA is a large land mass, but is neither a continent nor an island. specificity brings answers.

Usually a sub-continent, like perhaps India is a sub-continent. It is part of Asia but its mass is so big it can be classified as such.
