Try Activia yoghurts after eating. If the problem persists then you can see your doc or ask the pharmacist for advice

As you get older your body does not need to absorb nutrients and energy so quickly, so your food takes longer to digest.

You can combat this by eating food which is easier for your body to absorb, this tends to be the lighter, more natural food rather than overrefined food, and also avoid fried food. Drink a glass of water or juice at the start of your meal - I start my breakfast with grapefruit segments - and avoid fizzy drinks.

You can boost your metabolic rate by taking more exercise - for example if you are at work and have an hour for lunch go for a 20 minute walk before eating. This will have other benefits for your health too.

Good luck!
