I don't think you realize what your talking about, The Boogeyman
(Marty Wright) is 42 years old!!! Hardly Young. The reason they released him was because he kept lying to them and was not showing any commitment to his craft. He was supposed to be rehabbing his injuries, but kept skipping appointments with doctor's and was not showing any in ring improvement. If he was younger WWE may have decided to keep him around in the hopes that he might grow out of his bad habits, but at his age its hard to teach an old dog new tricks. As for Marty Jannetty, the reason why they are bringing him back, he's 44 by the way, is not to be a top tier star, or anything like that, but to as a mentor/coach/leader for guys like Randy Orton, Cena, Masters, Carlito, and Nitro, and show them about work ethic and paying dues. Management at the moment tends to think that there are not enough veterans and leaders on the roster at the moment, so they want to bring in some older veterans ro show the younge guys, how to become better and more professional at there craft.

The WWE released The Boogyman (Marty Wright) because he wasn't doing his part to get back in shape & that he missed a few Doctor's Appointments in regards of him recovering from a torn biceps muscle he suffered prior to Wrestlemania five months ago. Management had warned him about this a few times, & when he didn't change his behavior, the WWE released him on the spot. Old veterans like Marty Jannetty, Rodney Mack, & Brad Armstrong have been signed by the WWE to work with younger talent, & if this initial venture is a success, then all three of them will be granted full-time contracts with the company.

The boogeyman was the worst idea since the juicer in wcw or the zombie in wwecw. The talent they release doesnt go anywhere. They have no talent. Granted a few good ones have slipped threw but for the most part even the young talent wwe hires are losers.

A lot of wrestlers have drug problems. Or there are 20 guys that fit the same mold. That makes it hard to market the guys. Signing a guy from the past can help bring back old storylines that were successful.

The "Boogey Man" is about 45 years old bro', he's just in good shape, but his constant "pains and bruises" make him elegible to an early release.
