Absolutely true. So what. I'm a liberal and even I don't hold this against her. At least she's not a alcoholic a$$-hole like her husband.

BTW, no alcohol and probably no speeding was involved in her accident. She was 17 at the time and ran a stop sign. She was probably just distracted like young inexperienced drivers sometimes are. Also, the person that died was in the other car and there is no hard evidence that he was either her boyfriend or former boyfriend, only speculation. However, she did know him (Midland is a small town). He was the most popular boy in town (BMOC) and she may have wanted him as a boyfriend but thats about it.

Yes, she'd just gotten her driver's license and was driving to a party with a girlfriend. She hit another car at a rural intersection and killed the driver who was a schoolmate and possibly a former boyfriend. No tests for alcohol use were done. It is generally thought she was an inexperienced driver and was distracted because she was talking to her friend or listening to the radio or both.

When I read about this in 2000, I somehow expected that Laura Bush would take up a cause related to reducing accidents caused by teen drivers. She certainly has the moral authority and the nation's ear. Some states restrict the drivers' licenses of kids for a year or two, but much more could be done legislatively and through other programs. Unfortunately, Laura, and/or the Republican Party has made the choice to keep her out of the spotlight. She's done very little in any area; she's had sporadic lukewarm involvement in just a few causes. However, she's been better at standing by her man than some other first ladies, and she's is very pretty for someone her age.

Laura Welch (she replaced into a minimum of 10 years remote from marrying W.) replaced into 17 years old whilst she ran a stop sign and hit yet another motor vehicle containing a fellow pupil. She knew the guy yet i'm uncertain that the two have been female chum and boyfriend although the media could like that to be so. An learn revealed that no alcohol replaced into in contact and there have been no difficult thoughts by using the ineffective boy's relatives.

When Laura was a teenager, she got in an accident that killed somebody.

She was not drunk, she did not flee the scene, and she was not having an adulterous affair with the deceased, unlike what happened to a certain celebrated Democrat Senator.

When she was young, she and her boyfriend were in a car accident and he died. It was not ruled to be her fault in any way. She was very young (high school, I think).
