I think you mean short term and long term goals.
My short term goal is to get into Yale next year, and long term goal is to make lots of money and find cures to diseases.

Short term goal....To not be bothered with stress of becoming to my long term goal
My Long term goal. To finish what I have accomplished and be happy and successful and healthy all the rest of my life.
