Big town looks way too clean and underpopulated, where is it in real life?

brum is filmed in birmingham i live in brum and reconise everywhere ,obiously u dont live here. if you havent been brum for a while visit its becoming a great city u wont reconise the place
oh and it looks underpopulated because its filmed early in morning .

Originally the programme was set in the city of Birmingham in England, hence the name: in addition to its onomatopoeic nature of a car engine revving, Brum is a common colloquial name for Birmingham and its inhabitants are known as Brummies. Recent series have undergone a change of format and make no specific mention of Birmingham, calling it the "Big Town", but Brum is still filmed there and many Birmingham streets and landmarks can be seen in each episode.

The intro and ending were filmed in Birmingham City Centre in areas by Victoria Square and The Mailbox. Not sure about the rest of it but it is produced in Birmingham (used to be from Pebble Mill) so i assume its in and around Birmingham.

I expect the council run a team of street cleaners just ahead of the film crew.
Much like the queen thinks the world smells of paint cos half a mile ahead of her is always some poor sod painting like mad.

I think Brum comes from the Cotswolds don't know where it's filmed. Sorry no help there!
