I don't think the change in government will have made a drastic effect on investments. Maybe the stock market has taken a bit of a hit, and maybe there will be a few less tourists for a while,. but Thailand is a country which bounces back in just a few days.
I suppose it depends on what you plan on investing in - As I said, nothing's changed very much.
I lived there ten years, and my wife is Thai, so we are in touch with the situation daily.
Thailand can be a risky place to invest at the best of times, but in the right industry at the right time, enormous returns can be made.
