Look for drop-off or deep pockets of water within the lake/river where the fish will be relaxing. Try using worms for half anhour, switch to leeches if they don't work. Try scented plastic worms of different colors as well.

A net if it is in a tank. If fishing, then you need a fishing pole, hooks and bait. And there are a lot of different types out there and you need some knowledge to choose what is right for you.

To catch a fish you need some kind of pole, some kind of line or string, a hook and some kind of bait that lures the fish to your pole.
The next thing you need is time and patience and a body of water that has the type of fish that you want to catch in it.
Their are all kinds of baits that people will tell you work the best.
They may include artificial lures. apples, blood squares,bologna, chicken,crab,fish,ham,insects,
macaroni,peperoni,shrimp,spam, turkey,vegetables(Breaded and fried).

Depends on what your are fishing for. Shad gut or chicken livers if catfish. Beemoths or red wigglers if fishing for Bluegill, Crappie, etc. You would also need a pole, hooks, bobbers, line and alot of patience.
