Some ignorance is bliss, but the ignorance of everyone is a punishment for the mind, we crave attention and if ignored and treated like dirt, that could really get to your mind. How would you like it to be at a market, with things waiting in line and just when it's your turn the lady just leaves or ignores you, and you loose time waiting for her to notice you.

No, ignorance is ignorance. It is saying that I don't want to know that there are things out there that I am missing that could make me a much happier person. So I choose to be content with what I have know. I think ignorance is more laziness than bliss.

Ignorance is ignorance plain and simple... if someone wishes to ignore all that goes on around you or in the world for the sake of bliss, then they are ignorant and probably not very intelligent either..

absolutely! I remember when I was young, I just didn't know any better. I had a constant smile on my face... Ear to ear, baby! That all changed when I moved to Vegas and saw how much there really was out there. Now I work my azz off to achieve a dream. It has its moments but I will never be as carefree as I was when I was a kid living in Arkansas.
