Exactly but it's not unexpected anymore so you have to keep searching for what you haven't expected yet-encompassing everything--so it's not a pointless saying after all.

Not really. Just because you expect something that's unexpected doesn't mean that you know exactly what that unexpected thing is, so it actually remains unexpected...even though you're expecting *something*.
It's like Donald Rumsfeld's quote about "unknown unknowns." There are "unexpected unexpecteds," and "expected unexpecteds." :D

ya some times it does.. but doesn't that tell us that its always helpful to expect the unexpected?? but it doesn't really make sense bcoz after all it becomes expected and wats the fun in doing everything expected??? after all life does the unexpected and we must practice to expect the unexpected..
