I don't know about sparkling wine. A glass of dark beer or red wine supposedly helps with let down. I don't think it helps with milk production.

I have heard that a bit of beer or breweres yeast can help with milk production. There is also a tea on the market called Mothers Milk that supposedly can help too. I have only seen the tea on line, at top end markets like Whole foods but check your local grocery or health food store to see. From what I have read a small glass of wine or beer every now and then will not kill anyone.

It doesn't increase it it just helps with the let down. One glass of wine is fine while breastfeeding just remember not to overdo it. If you want to increase your supply try artificially flavored maple syrup it has fenugreek in it. You can also buy fenugreek pills but I would talk to a doctor first

Liquor of any kind will make let down of milk easier but it will not increase the supply. The only way to do that is to feed the baby more or pump more. Eventually your body will then produce more. Your milk supply works on supply and demand.

drinking no matter how little during pregnancy or while breast feeding is not recommended... No amount is safe no occasion is worth the possible harm you can do to your child.
