I read some of the questions and answers here on love sex and relationships and wonder if women really understand men? Or do they forget what brought them together in the first place.
They use sex as a bargaining chip to get what they want or not have sex and use it as punishment.
I think many are so consumed in their own selfishness that they overlook the primal requirements of good old fashioned sex.
Why do they use sex as a tool?

I think that most times men think women use sex as a tool but I find that when I'm having problems with a guy I dont want to have sex with him. If I'm arguing with you or feel your not doing something for me that you should be I dont want to have sex with you. Automatically men think your withholding sex as punishment. The way I see it is he's punishing me by doing things that are taking my sex drive for him away.

Maybe because its the only currency some men understand. Dangling sex in front of a man is like dangling a Scooby Snack in front of Scooby Doo (if you know who that is). Maybe what brought a couple together initally was physical attraction, and maybe the other qualities evolved from there. I don't think women have cornered the market on selfishness or using sex to influence. Men and women both have issues with communicating directly and clearly. I could be wrong, but some of the questions and answers I read appear to come from people who really haven't had enough life experience. There's no subsitute for it other than living.

First, not ALL women use sex as a bargaining tool so DON'T categorize all women (or men) in the same category as not everyone is the same. I refuse to do that. I think that it is abuse and I refuse to abuse anyone as I have been abused way too much in my life so I know what it feels like and refuse to make anyone else feel that way. Second, I believe that many men do this very same thing, especially to women who are highly sexual or are mean to them. So, for those who use it, it goes both ways.

They use it for the same reason anybody uses anything for a bargaining chip. It works. Or, at least it works to a certain age. If men, and I was as susceptible as any, would learn to make relationship decisions without running every thought through their groin, women's sex ploy would end.

Because men are such basic, primal creatures that when a woman uses sex as a bargaining chip, it usually works. (personally, I don't use this tactic with my hubby)

You answer your own question. Women completely understand men. We want sex. That is why we want women. They control the sex, thus they control us. Call it what you want, bargining chip, tool, punishment, reward, whatever, they use it becasue it works.

Because we CAN. It's not right, but men do it too. Everyone has their currency. If this is a problem in your relationship, find her currency. Start with shoes......."no new shoes Babe if you don't...." If that doesnt' work, try something else.

I think it is manipulative and wrong. I have never done this, but then again to withhold sex would only hurt me, too.

What are u talking about.. my husband uses it as a bargining chip with me, as he can last longer with out then i can lol..(VERY TRUE)
