because someone keeps calling my cell and i don't know who they are, and i was wondering if i could go online somewhere and find out who it is, because i don't really want to call and be like, who is this?

If they keep calling and you're not able to get the number from any of the other sources people have given you here..

You shouldn't be afraid of calling the number back. You can always call it from a payphone, then their caller ID won't know who called. Just ask an off-the-wall question like "is this the Clark residence?"

With any luck, the person will say "no, this is ___"

Even if they just say "you have the wrong number" ... you may recognize the voice. (Just do it from a pay phone ;o)

Yes, if it is a published number. Type in the number in the format xxx-xxx-xxxx into a Google search and it will tell you the person's or business' name.

google or yahoo search the number and it may pop up. if you're REALLY curious as to who it is, call the number from a payphone.
