Cats are definitely different! I have a dog and a cat, and dogs are definitely more affectionate from the get go. Cats, however, are more like people. They give and receive affection, but on their terms, not yours. They are definitely more discriminating and seem to prefer solitude more than dogs do. It's funny. We desire to emulate the characteristics of dogs (unconditional love, minimal wants, general contentment) but we are really more like cats. Perhaps that's why we seem to have trouble getting along with them.

If only it were so simple. There are several breeds of dogs that are very independent (try making a Saluki fit in) and many breeds of cats that desire nothing more than to gaze adoringly at you (like a ragdoll)
However, also understand that as a pack animal, a dog is better equipped to fit in. His desire to please you emanates from his perception of you as the leader of the pack and it is in his best interests to keep you happy. A cat does not have any such makeup. A cat is with you because she chooses to be and to many people that is a more powerful expression of loyalty.
And there is another saying- God created Dogs to teach man self-acceptance because the dog will adore him no matter who he is or what he looks like. But he created Cats to teach him humility because a man can never make a cat servile.

i think of you would be confusing pressed interior the Bible to discover verses that easily mentioned that there is a entire absence of evil in Heaven. Secondly, so a approaches as a race is going, we are extraordinarily wonderful. i grow to be gazing a nature instruct and there grow to be this team of monkeys the place the alpha-male easily killed a sprint one monkey via fact the alpha-male knew that he could not get any intercourse till the toddler had grown up (curiously how a woman monkey's endocrine gadget works). there's a brilliant form of rather counterproductive activities that animals do, that ought to be considered incredibly sinful if a human did it. once you compromise for clever layout as being a achievable mechanism by potential of which the entity that we call God easily "created" us, and you learn issues like toddler mortality, seasonal survival, usual lifespan, and planetary domination to that of our animal companions, God has carried out a superb activity on us.

Have you owned a cat? Mine greets me at the door when I come home, follows me from room to room, uses his litter when I'm in the bathroom, and eats at the same time. I'd says that's fitting in with humans.

It may seem like that but God made what he made and I think that they are all awesome! I also think that there are different animals for different people so God knew what he was doing.
