She called it Shutton Pierce! Personally i think that this is an awful name and i think she has just made it up! It will probally get picked on at school cos of its horrible name! Don't mean to e nice but come on its hidious!

It could be worse.
Actor Jason Lee named his baby - Pilot Inspektor (REALLY!)
Michael Jackson's brother Jermaine named his child - Jermajesty ( I couldn't make this **** up)
Eddie Van Halen & Valerie Bertinellli named their child - Wolfgang (nickname- Wolfie)
Michelle Williams' (from Destiny's Child) real first name is Tenetria. I don't even know how to pronounce that. Do you?(Michelle is her middle name. See why she uses it?)
Does Sutton actually sound that awful now? Sometimes a little perspective is all we need.

I don't think its a bad name at all and Sutton is not that uncommon. I don't think he'll be picked on in school, at least not for his name. There are a lot worse out there such as
Banjo,
Audio Science
Prince Michael 1 & 2
Jermajesty
Pilot Inspektor,
Moon Unit,
Dweezil,
Ahmet Rodan,
Poppy Honey,
Daisy Boo,
Apple,
Fifi Trixibelle,
Heavenly Hirrani Tiger Lily.
These are all names given by various celebs to their kids - compared to these Sutton doesn't seem so bad now does it?

Get educated darling! Sutton is not a made up name cos Sutton Ho used to be a burial ship in ancient times when people burnt dead on pyres and sent them out on a ship to the sea. As for Pierce, no wonder Pierce Brosnan is called like that, both names are Irish.
But to get back to your question I agree that it's really a horrible thing to get named after a burial ship.

Why somebody would want to name their kid after a place in England is beyond me. Especially since that place is Sutton, and the other kids middle name is Preston, of all the places in England.
And it probably won't get picked on, because a generation of kids with stupid names has been born, so he won't be alone. The generations of Tom's, James', Alice's, and Lucy's will be gone forever.Plus, he's the son of a famous person they don't get picked on by "normal" people. The people he will probably associate with will probably be called 'Kiwi Star Martin-Paltrow' and 'Laker Lebron Coombs'.
They could have named it Southwark Peckham. LOL. Which is worse.

I think it's bad because it reminds me of sutton coldfield (a town in the uk) but i understand y she called him that bcoz it means town in the south (or something like that) and thats where Brits roots are from.
However looking at the bigger picture is a child of Britney Spears really going to get bullied?

Sounds like a place name. 'Sutton Coldfield'. Maybe she's following the David Beckham naming convention using the place where he was conceived.
It's an awful name.

He's more apt to get picked on at school because of his loser father, than because of his name. Besides, you're giving a Britney/Kevin baby too much credit......the chances of him going to school (let alone finishing!) are pretty slim......parents are a little low on the I.Q. totem pole!
