What you would probably prefer than just the answer, is probably how to get too.
Whenever you have () and a number next to them, it means that you need to multiply. () also mean that you need to do that section first. In order to conform with both rules, you need to multiply with in the () without completeing the interior first by multiplying everything with in by the coeficient or simply put, the number out side of the (). For the first set of (), you must multiply the four by the x and the four by the two and still have them added as they are in the (). for this part you get 4 * x + 4 * 2 simplified, 4x + 8. Now, you must add the other section. With a similar process, you get 3 * x + 3 * 5 again, you simplify to get 3x + 15. Since in the problem the two sets of () are added, you must also add your results to the two. This can be written as 4x + 8 + 3x + 15. The only thing left to do is to simplify by combining like terms. You add 4x to 3x and 8 to 15 and get 7x + 23. and that is your final and most simplified answer.
