Who would you rather have on your team, especially when it counts and for all of the intangibles?
I actually will say this - it is a tough decision. Best every day player - Jeter for sure.
BUT, people overlook Mariano Rivera a lot. I don't think the Yanks would have won all those recent championships without him, and the fact is he is the single best relief pitcher in the history of the game. Jeter, A-Rod, or anyone else you want to argue for can't say they are the best ever at their respective positions.

Most talented player in Alex Rodriguez. His skills are far better then anyone on the Yanks and arguably has the best skills in baseball. The player that puts his talent on display the most is Derek Jeter.
