The media. The media gives Democrats a pass on everything. But whenever a Republican is in power they criticize every tiny thing. They only show the bad and never the good. Unfortunately, many people unquestioningly believe anything they see on TV. So all they get is bad news and smear pieces when a Republican is in office. And all they get is all happy news and good times when Dems are in office.
Don't think the media is liberal? Then why did 93% of all people in media vote for Al Gore and 92% for John Kerry?

Liberals are like children and Conservatives are more like parents. Democrats have been in power for so many years, they forgot how to debate their issues. The mental depression they suffered from loosing all three Branch's of government combined with their lose of debating skills results in angry outbursts. Just compare the two different techniques used by Conservatives and Democrats on blogs. Liberal blogs are filled with filthy language, name calling and unpatriotic symbols. Conservative blogs are very well written with no vulgarity at all.

If someone sees the media bashing bush and they already dislike him they are going to take it farther than ever before . not to mention the numerous movies made specifically made to bash bush . your answer is the media

Don't forget that it was pretty bad when Clinton was in office! But you're right, it's much worse now. Exponentially.
Here's my guess as to why: they got so worked up over Monica Lewinsky that they realize they love the adrenaline rush of 'righteous' indignation. So now, any imaginable "indignation" is good enough to start a rage rush. They're junkies going for a fix.
Hope this helps! Thanks for a good question!

I don't understand it myself. It's embarrassing for our country as a whole. It's so disrespectful to the citizens of the USA. Get your point across, stand up for what you believe in, but leave the name calling to the 2 yr. olds.
Don't the Democrats see how they look to the public. I'd like to see a change in the next election - but, I honestly I'm beginning to re-structure my thoughts.

Because liberals have had such a stronghold on American politics for so long that they have become comfortable and spoiled. When they feel it slipping away they do not know how to react. They have no real answers so they resort to the only strategies they understand. Name calling and using buzz words like "compassion' to hide their lack of vision.

Because the Democrats are like spoiled children. When they are out of power, they throw temper tantrums. They don't have any core values or plans for how to change things, they just know that they want their power back. Since they can't talk about what they would do differently, they simply resort to name calling and nit-picking about people's past.

Because more democrats really tend to use the politics of personal destruction. They attack the person, not their politics, and it is always worse when the dems are not in power because they complain a lot more. This is just my opinion, after all, and I am not saying all dems do this. But they seem to be more vocal and cruel than the repubs in their name calling.

So you don't recall any nastiness or name-calling (or government shut-downs or unfounded impeachments) during the Clinton Administration? Granted, that vitriol and name-calling also originated with right-wingers, as does most of the current tripe. However, it seems that your impression is clearly inconsistent with the facts.
