It is NOT because of a nosy president. I agree that China will be a threat economically, but North Korea and possibly Syria won't be a serious threat. I don't know what Venezuela has against the US, but I'm not really current. Iran is (in my opinion) is never going to change or get better. They could most definately attack America, but they won't be a big threat. Besides, USA has alot of countries that would support them, even if those countries are off beat with the US as of now.

But seriously, this question is kinda big for this sort of site. However, Noth Korea is testing ICBMs that could potentialy reach Alaska and Hawaii so it is feasable that they could hit the USA with a nuclear warhead within the next decade. But they probably won't, with the whole M.A.D.(mutualy assured destruction) thing. Basicly as the greatest military power in the world the only real threat the USA has are economic ones and guerrila and terrorist military ones.
to veda: Yeah now that the US military only has like 12000 nuclear warheads and consumes more money than the combined GDP of something like the botton half of every country in the world the US is like a baby vs paintshaker.

Those are all good reasons why it was disastrous for Bill Clinton to dismantle our military . Clinton was a disaster for the U.S. and weakened the country . Thankfully , we have overcome weakness with George W. Bush . Unfortunately , the liberal democrats don't care what harm they cause to America whether they are in office-or out . Fortunately , there are men like George W. who know how to lead ; and does not back down when it come to keeping terrorism off our soil .
