Miracle whip is advertised as a salad dressing. People just started using it as an alternative to mayo. It is made like mayo only with added spices and sugar. It is a matter of personal preference as to which you like.

Mayo is used in salad dressing and contains eggs and therefore is pre cooked. Miracle Whip is not cooked contains no eggs, has more vinagar. Both are mainly just soybean oil and water. Also Mayo contains sugar and Miracle Whip doesn't. Miracle Whip also has more artifical favorings.

No!! Miracle Whip has more of a vinegar vase while mayonnaise has an oil base. They also taste quite different. There is NO false advertising at all!!
