The lowest would be minimum wage whatever that is in your state. Here it is 5.25 an hour. Some retailers make you reach a sales quota to keep your rate of pay if it's more than minimum wage. If you don't make your goal thay can lower you wages. I'd check with the HR dept or you immediate supervisor. They should have explained all that to you when you started if that's the way they work their pay scale.

Minimum paid is as everyone else states, minimum wage. But as for cutting your, there has to be a period of time before they cut in which they have to tell you so you choose if you stay or find another job. I would definately check with your local better business bureau on it.

I think that is illegal, but they have the right to pay you no more than minimum wage in your state/province. Go ask your boss why your pay rate was cut. To find out what the minimum wage is, call the state/provincial employment agency in your area.

Go to your state's website and find out the minimum wage for your state. State's overrule Federal rules.

minimum wage is 5.15 so they are within their legal rights. they probably should've told you somehow though that you're pay was being cut. I'd suggest you find a new place to work at.

Legally, they have to pay minimum wages and they can't cut your pay without your knowledge unless you switched positions or something.

hard to believe they think they can get anyone to work for that.....with gas prices, after taxes you might have a few cents
left....very simple answer is to look for another job, cause you weren't making much before the cut anyway.

Well they have to pay minimum wage atleast. (I don't know exactly what it'd be, it varies from state to state I believe..) Otherwise, report them for not paying you enough...
