Like a list? Well wikipedia has articles on most of them but what constitutes a branch of mathematics and how much someone like you should distinguish between close branches like ring theory and field theory is something rather open to debate. Of course on the AMS web site you can find a lot of useful information like how AMS categorizes the subject areas in mathematics (Check 2000 subject classification). So try www.ams.org for classification and wikipedia for particular information about branches.
