Just be yourself and I know that sounds lame, but don't act too wannabe because that is a total turnoff. If being yourself isn't working, get a new self. But if it gets to the point where you actually have to get a newself, she is SO not worth it.

Compliment her
Ask her if she needs help with homework etc..
Get to know her friends
Join groups or clubs she is in
