Indoctrination is instruction in the fundamentals of science or systems of beliefs such as philosophy and religion. It can also be defined as teaching someone to accept doctrines uncritically. This definition opens the most basic differences between indoctrination and education. Indoctrination teaches the doctrines that structures a subject as observed from within whereas education literally leads out of a subject; one that is dispassionately observed from with out. In simple terms, indoctrinations concerned itself with an individual's beliefs.; whereas education patterns that person's behavior.

It is more the actual environment in which this took place. It is a symptom of the educational system in America right now..... too much liberal bias and not enough attention to actual teaching without any bias. Considering that a school is considered to be a place of learning and what you hear there is supposedly true and not flavored with any outside influence, then this was wrong. It was not teaching respect for the country or the office of President but inculcating in those young children that Obama was somehow completely right and his beliefs were correct (whether they are or not is a different question) and they should all pay homage to him and not the Office of President. That is the fallacy in what took place.

Indoctrination is the same as psychological conditioning or grooming. Getting someone to believe something that isn't true. Brain washing is the same. Spies when caught will be given "evidence" that their country is bad, that no one cares about them, Vulnerable lonely people will be convinced that they are loved by the disciples of some religious order. Vulnerable people - especially the young will be groomed for sexual deviant behaviour in a similar way.
