I am getting head shots done in a matter of hours and I can't decided which I'd rather wear. My eyes are my best feature and I'd really like to play them up...

You have to be VERY careful w/liquid, it smears and stains your very easily. You should use the pencil, it goes on a LOT easier, and when you smudge (dampen the end of a q-tip and gently smudge the eyeliner) you can get a really beautiful and dramatic effect. I personally use Avon Glimmersticks, it the BEST, it's not quite liquid, not quite pencil, more like a crayon effect, you should invest in some for the future! Hope your pics turn out great!

The Pencil is solid in case you want a more advantageous organic look. both must be darkish yet pencil must be darker counting on the colour. that's likewise more advantageous acceptable searching because liquid in many circumstances seems pretend and clumpy and also you dont desire that. I say pencil all the way. All you should do is save on with the line of your eye and your solid! It doesnt extremely count number what sort you take advantage of. i understand the nice and comfy topic save is kinda creepy, yet the following in montana they have truly solid eyeliner and its less expensive too! Its in reality like 2 funds!!! really of 8-10 at maximum shops!

I would go with the pencil. It is easier to blend and you can give a more sultary look. As well the liquid is harsh lines. Personally if you have powered eyeliner I would go with that. But if not go with the pencil. That is what models and actress use. Trust me I watch Americas Next Top Model all the time

For close ups (head shots) I'd recommend pencil. Liquid draws too harsh of a line and if not apply with an extremely steady hand, you'll really see all the imperfections.

pencil definitely! Liquid is too harsh and better suited for theater actors and runway models. You will want to emphasize the natural beauty of your eyes in a head shot. Make sure to blend your make up well - no harsh transistions. Carefully smudge the eyeliner to avoid looking like you "underlined" your eyes.

Liquid is the best, it doesnt smudge and you can get a nice fine line... another tip, only line the lower lid under the lash , and use mascara on the top lashes, you would be amazed at how it makes the eyes look bigger and more beautiful!!
