There was a story in the news recently about an interesting couple. Both partners had a white mom and a black dad. They married and had twin girls - one twin is blonde and blue eyes like their grandmothers and the other twin was very dark like their grandfathers.
But no, both partners must carry the recessive gene for blue eyes to have a blue eyed child

I have 9 month old bi-racial twins, a boy and a girl, and they both have gorgeous brown curly hair. My daughter is a tad darker than my son and she has beautiful dark dark brown eyes - sometimes they almost look black!! She doesn't look much like me, but my son is almost a spitting image of me. He has lighter skin with blue eyes. She has dimples, he has my cheeks. They both have wonderful personalities, so far, and are great fun to be around!!
Both of them have birth marks and my daughter has two Mongolian spots (looks like a bruise but is just a type of birthmark), which are fairly common in bi-racial babies. Her's is on her lower back. I'm not sure if it will go away or if she will always have it.
I have fair skin, blonde hair and blue eyes! They both make me look very pasty next to them. They look like they have a perpetual tan!! My sister has fair skin but dark hair often gets mistaken for their mom which drives me crazy but I can see how people would do that.

The gene pool is like rolling the dice. You never know what you are going to get. The baby could look like some distant relative and have coloring of someone you never met. I have 2 blue eyes children and didn't know I carried a blue gene until I was told my great grandfather had blue eyes. The most ironic thing is that off my 4 kids, the 2 who look the most alike had different fathers.

My Bi-racial (Latino/White) son is light skined with blue/green eyes and jet black hair. I have little brown/auburn hair and blue eyes I am olive skinned, dad has black hair brown eyes and light latin skin. Its pretty much a gamble but I really think bi-racial babys are beautiful because they are the best of two world meeting together and form something like no one has ever seen!! Good luck with your baby!

I'm half black and half white. Most of the time I have light brown skin but during the summer I get quite a bit of color. I have black hair that is very tight curls but isn't necessarily "nappy." I have a round african american looking nose, full lips, high cheek bones, and round eyes. I guess most of my features are more african american looking but they are slightly less pronounced. I have a baby with a white man and she looks totally white. He had light blue eyes and so did our daughter when she was first born but they quickly turned to brown. Unless someone in your family has blue eyes chances are your baby would have brown eyes as brown in the dominant trait.

bi racial baby's can look like any one on your side of the family and on his side of the family. it can have a combination of everything. it is very possible for your baby to have dark hair and blue eyes. my friends son is bi racial and he has curly brown hair, blue eyes and tan skin. your baby can have both you and your boyfriends features.they are not all the same.

My kids both have tentacles and purple skin. Who the hell knows? We are all mixed with something. Anything is possible.
