No you are not the only one.

I think it may have been the build up to their records which left many of us thinking..was that it!! They couldn't live up to their hype. Some people will love them but some people enjoy sniffing doggy poop. It's all a matter of taste...ewwww...lol

I class The Darkness the same. The huge hype that came with them. "The best rock group since AC/DC" my backside. I find that an insult to all rock bands.

Some of this rap music also is utter garbage but some people think it's great. True, a few rap songs are good but on the whole it's normally rapped by people who can't hold a tune and find great pleasure in spitting venom at how hard their lives an that of their kin. 90% of Rap should start with a 'C'

Look, you got me started now... I'll be going on all night....

;o)

Bring back "Chaz n Dave" ;o)

I hate coldplay as well, because of the depressing music, not because of the lead singer though.

If you want to know a very good vocal coach try to visit https://tr.im/cQ0fu an online vocal coaching tutorial. Everything, ranging from breathing fundamentals, vocalizing exercises, techniques on singing high and low notes, how to not go off-key/out of tune/off-sync, musicianship and music theory, proper diction and articulation, and a lot more are covered, all in our native language. It can be quite technical in nature, but it really helps since it covers the musical aspect of singing deeply and not just concentrates on how to impress people with your vocal range, riffs and runs and other cliches that do not necessarily make one a complete vocalist.

They have a couple of nice songs but it is true that if you listen to them for quite a long time you'll end up feeling down in the dumps. They've become repetitive, that means that they've exhausted their creative sources.
