I would agree with most of that statement. ".... only bring Demise ..." is a bit harsh, tho. I think 'victim mentality' is just as advertised ... a state of mind. While going through life with that state of mind, a person probably doesn't see that opportunities are everywhere to break out of that mindset. To say "only brings demise" is a little pessimistic. I would say "... generally brings demise". Mindsets can change, but only if the mind is open to change.

Yes, with a caveat. A person, who for no good reason, carries around a victim mentality (oh poor me), in other words, is filled with self pity, generally will create a genuine reason for that victim mentality by his or her own actions. However, if a person has a sunny disposition, and always thinks that God or the Universe has placed them into unfavorable circumstances or situations for a reason or a for a lesson or for an opportunity, well, this person has no guarantee against becoming a victim, as well. It's like smoking. If someone smokes and gets lung cancer, we say they brought it on themselves. On the other hand, people who never smoke still get lung cancer. Not smoking doesn't eliminate the possibility of contracting lung cancer. Smoking only increases your odds of getting the cancer. Negative attitudes virtually ensure negative outcomes, but positive attitudes only decrease the odds of negative outcomes.

Completely.
It's actually something I believe strongly.
The ggreat philosopher Rene Descartes once said:
"I think, therefore I am."
And so it is.
If we choose to live life pretending to be the victim and throwing our own self-indulgent pity parties, then the victim is exactly what we will become.
And not only do we become the victims of circumstance but also of our own self-inflicted harm.
Play the victim.
Become the Victim.
Better the victims of circumstance, than the victim of our minds.
Unfortunately, here, the two go hand in hand.
Hope that answers your question
Peace, love and happiness

Not necessarily... That quote is too narrow in thought to truly encompass the environment, situation, etc, of a true victim. Victims are not created in a vaccuum and not wholly within one's mind (barring any mental illness). There are psychological and sociological aspects not accounted for. We tend to forget we live in societies for many reasons and these societies can build or destroy...

Demise is quite a strong word. A person who lives as a victim lives a powerless life.
When you are a victim, your victimizer holds all the cards and has all the power.

Yes, because the rest of us will get tired of his bitching and do away with the complainer.
Human eyes are both in front for a reason.
We are wolves, not sheep.
