She's really nice, but she's sooooooooo boycrazy!! It's aggravating and I just don't know what I should say to her to get her to at least look at guys that would be good for her. She always goes for the "bad boys" and they always hurt her. She's had a rough past and I know that has a lot to do with it but I wish I could help her. She's a wonderful friend despite all this and I don't want to see her hurt again. I've told her basically everything I can think of to get her to stop staring at every cute guy that walks past us. Please help me!

if she wont listen to you there is nothing else you can do but let her see for herself and just be there for her when she gets hurt she will eventually get it.

I use to coach cheer leading and a few of my girls were just like that. They can not be with out a boy. Just be her friend and be there when she need you. Getting hurt is part of growing up and learning from your mistakes. Hopefully she can break the trend and find a good boy. Most of my girls did.

Some girls are looking for attention, you telling her what not to do is making her want to go with those guys more. Eventually she will get tired of being treated like dirt.

Tell her how it makes you feel when you see her sad like that. Maybe you could help her find a guy who will not break her heart.

People are a product of their environment and are usually drawn to what they have been made comfortable with...an abusive upraising, etc.

They and they alone can change this if they see it in themselves and want to change it.

sorry to say this, but there is nothing you can do or say to make her change. she will change when she's been through enough crap and will want something better for herself. til then, just be there for her.
