I want to find a job in another state, what is the best way to do this? Do I move first and then look for work, or do I try and secure a job where I want to move first? Also, how do you go about looking for work in other states? Anyone know of any way to do this please help. I would appreciate any and all information you can provide

You should find the job, and then move. If it is a highly skilled job, a lot of employers will be willing to help pay for relocation costs and even help you find a place to live. You can include relocation information (such as how far away you're willing to go) when you look for a job on monster.com. Many big companies list jobs through recruiters on monster.com. A good recruiter will be able to assist you and advise you on how to go about relocating.

All the major, Job Search Engines. Or ask people who work for large companies if they have a place located in another stae. Many Do!

you can do an electronic resume the can be reviewed by all sorts of companies. that way you can secure a job before you move.

post your resume on the web, like monster.com,etc. and post it in the city (and surrounding areas) of the state you are planning to move to. go to a search engine and find other job search engines, and post your resume on those as well.
