Tell you r mom to read a book. You can use them from your first period to your last. Virgin or not it doesnt matter. One has nothing to do with the other.
AND from now on may I sugest you try looking things up on your own and staying away from mom's advice. She sounds kinda dark age to me.

They are probably saying that because tampons will likely break or tear your hymen. An intact hymen used to be used as proof of virginity, but that's pretty outdated. You are still a virgin, even if you use tampons, until you have sexual intercourse with a man.

no sure i understand the question but you can use tampons whether you are a virgin or not... using a tampon has nothing to do with sex except that it goes into your vagina.

using a tampon may break the hymen but technically to be a virgin is not to have sex. using a tampon is NOT the same thing as having sex.

no, you don't. alot of girls actually break their hymen before they lose their virginity...because of tampons.
i'll admit, though...it's a little harder to use tampons when you're still a virgin (in most cases) just because it's..."tighter"...down there.
but just because you use tampons, doesn't mean you're not a virgin.

I heard that if you are a virgin you can't use tampons...but that's just stupid.It's best to ask your doctor.
