Carrisimo - Spanish for expensive, it was the most expensive country in latin america before its economic crash earlier this decade. That's the word that comes first to mind. followed by arrogant - most other latin american countries HATE Argentina. Then Eva Peron, guachos, El Calafate (the town that gateways to the Perito Merino glacier - one of the last advancing glaciers in the world), Patagonia, sub-antarctic, Iguazu falls, beef, disappeared, las Malvinas, River Plate stadium, tango, Che Guevara (although I associate him more with the continent than with his birthplace).
