During the '60s, Hunts grew tomatoes in what is now prime real estate, behind Huntington Castle (on Beach Blvd.) and Adams Blvd.

The Huntington Beach pier is only about 2/3 as long as it used to be. A storm took out the end 1/3, and a restaurant with it.

Every year on the 4th of July, they host a Miss Firecracker Beauty Pageant near the beach.

Don Jose's is one of its best Mexican food restaurants.

In'n'Out Burger is delicious.

It is a beautiful place to live, though it has become incredibly expensive to live there.

It's in competition with Santa Cruz to be known as "Surf City".
More surf competitions are held in HB than any other town.

I grew up there
Loved surfing
Miss old downtown
Can't afford to live there now
Now live in Kentucky (I know.... Why?)
